This club provides men and women the chance to continue their love of playing basketball. These two competitive teams are highly respected as successful sport clubs. This is the third year the team has been around and is already one of the top competitive teams in the Nation. The women's team finished third at the National tournament in 2007. The two teams travel to different colleges around the Nation to compete in tournaments. Join the Men's or Women's Basketball team and help build on their great success.

The Club Baseball Team at Central Michigan offers students an opportunity to continue their baseball career while playing a high level of competition. The team is part of the National Club Baseball Association along with almost 200 other college teams across the country. We have one of the best programs in the nation and have been nationally ranked each of the past four seasons. Club Baseball is a great way to make friends and memories.

Equestrian Provides a co-ed team atmosphere for those with any level of horseback riding or showing experience to continue competing throughout college. The Equestrian Club team shows through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association in Hunt Seat and Stock Seat disciplines from Walk Trot to Open Fences in Hunt Seat or Open Reining in Stock Seat. Central Michigan Club Hockey competes in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division II. Last year, we had a very successful season finishing 19-9-3, with eight of those nine losses to teams that appeared in the 2006-2007 ACHA Division II National Tournament. We also won our season series 2-1 over the eventual ACHA Division II National Champions, Michigan State University. Tryouts are next September up here in Mount Pleasant, dates and times TBA. The cost is forecasted to be about $1200 per player which covers hotels, ice time, warm-ups, referees etc. This is a great opportunity to continue to play competitive college hockey and meet some great people. Karate
The Karate club is open to all students who wish to study tang-soo-do karate. No previous experience is necessary, uniforms are only required for those who wish to test at the end of the term. We practice and study the traditional form of tang-soo-do karate giving instruction on basic actions, forms, one-step sparing, free style sparing, and some self defense tactics.

Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in America and this is an opportunity to play beyond the high school level. No experience necessary, however must have a good work ethic. Will play games against Michigan and Michigan State and other top club teams nationally year in and year out. Men's Club Volleyball gives students opportunities to strengthen their athletic abilities and meet lots of new friends. We compete regionally and nationally every year and are very recognized in the volleyball community. The Men's Volleyball club is open to anyone interested in playing volleyball at a competitive level. Starting in October and ending in April we hold practices 3-4 times a week and compete in tournaments throughout the Mid-West.

Club Pom includes both hip hop dance teams and a pom team. We participate in parades, shows, and competitions throughout the year. We hold a lot of Fundraisers such as candy sales around Halloween, Buffalo Wild Wings nights, and Coldstone nights to earn money for our costumes, and to travel to compete around the state. At competitions we rank very well. We perform around campus in events like the homecoming parade and the Honors talent show. We work hard and have a lot of fun.

For six weekends in January and February members compete against other schools (U of M, MSU, Western, Eastern, Grand Valley, and more) on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and have the rest of the afternoons to free ski. Members get the chance to make friends from both Central and other schools, as well as have the opportunity to compete in the USCSA Nationals event. All skiers and snowboarders are encouraged to join and no racing experience is necessary!

Swim Club Provides a GREAT way for students to get out, get in shape, meet an awesome group of people and experience the competitiveness of the swim club. Having roughly three to four weekend meets a season, the Swim Club is a great group of athletes out to have a good time and kick some fins while doing it! We compete in three Invitationals ranging from Big 10 schools to YMCA local teams. No previous swim team experience is required. Practices are tailored to the highly competitive and well conditioned swimmers as well as beginners. We have recently joined the Region III Women's Soccer League, which now allows us to qualify for Regionals and Nationals each year.
